Frequently asked questions

What is a custom wordlist for?
In password audits, a dictionary built from the target data (company name, people, dates) is far more effective than a generic list.
What is the policy filter?
It discards candidates that would not meet the password policy (minimum length, digit, uppercase, symbol), so you do not waste time on combinations the system would reject.
Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is generated in your browser; the list never leaves your machine.
